Good buy for Hubs

Allows USB 3.0 speed charging and fast data transfer. In other words, it does exactly what it's supposed to do and isn't overpriced. It's lightweight but definitely durable. The only thing they could do to improve this product is add a longer micro USB cable so it can be plugged into a laptop and get more out of the way. Anyhow, the cable is only about 6 inches long, meaning the hub and any chords you plug into it are bunched and cluttered around the laptop. That's enough of a design flaw that…

Cons
  • Upgradeable

This product comes with a very short 4 inch cable. The manufacturer incorrectly claims that this product comes with a 7.6 inch cable. Other extremely good options among 4-port USB 3.0 hubs include: * Anker Ultra-Slim 4-Port USB 3.0 Data Hub * Propel 4-Port Ultra-Speed Portable USB 3.0 Hub with Built-in 3-Foot Cable * Ultra - Slim 4-Port USB HooToo Data Hub 3.0 - Gray or Silver * Sabrent 4-port USB 3.0 hub with separate power buttons and LEDs

worked like. Not what I was hoping for.

At first I was very happy about this article because my 2012 Macbook only has 2 USB ports and sometimes I need 3 free ports. I use an external SSD in one of the Mac's built-in USB ports and was planning to use this hub to power my wireless mouse and keyboard. It took 4 attempts to find a slot that ran the mouse with no lag and 2 attempts to find a slot that ran the keyboard with no lag 😰 although I still notice a slight lag. So technically it works, but not as efficiently as I had hoped. I…

Super great buy! Don't leave home without it :)

I don't usually write reviews, but this review makes me excited! This is the best buy! Super fast! Transmission! No waiting time! As advertised! It even comes with a 24-month warranty, so if anything goes wrong 30 days after purchase, the manufacturer will replace it or issue a hassle-free refund! This is a genuine belief that their product works and I highly recommend it. I bought another one that fits in my tablet case! You can charge multiple items at the same time with an external battery…

A Few More Ports

The office computer needed a few more ports and this hub had good reviews and was quite small. The short cable did the trick, so I had to plug it into the top USB port and use that for my keyboard and mouse, and use the freed-up bottom ports for other devices I added. As others have said, this is not a self-powered hub and will not charge or charge slowly for some devices. In my case, plugging in a keyboard, mouse, and random USB drive is fine.

It works. best in hubs

Works, but sometimes when you connect devices to the hub or when you connect the hub to a computer (a new high-end laptop), the computer reports that the existing device has been disabled . So when I want to use it, I have to "unplug/eject" my external drive on my displayport, then plug in the hub, then plug my external drive back in. If I already have an external drive attached and then plug in the hub, all file operations I'm doing on my external DisplayPort drive stop. Shouldn't happen…
