It works great and all my cats (4) use it. The only thing that I think could be improved is to make the latch on the closing door a little more secure. I can slide it outside and open it. We have a lot of raccoons here. I think I'll be having breakfast with someone soon.

This was the PERFECT solution for my cats to maintain some independence when we were out of town. Installed a week before the trip. (Set up was SUPER easy!) Then let the cats get used to it so they were fine when we had to leave. We still had a friend checking them out, but he even reported that they used a cat door!

great for renting. Was looking for a way to install a dog door without damaging it. It was a great option. We added pet steps on both sides so our dog now has access both inside and outside. We bought extra insulation for the window. Thicker and more flexible so it filled all the gaps. Very happy, as is our dog.

It was very easy to install. I wish it had a better way of sealing drafts around the "door" of the window and I wish it had a better locking system but give it 5 stars anyway. My cat loves the freedom to come and go during the day. We keep our cat home at night, so opening the window to fit a lockable door is inconvenient. It would be nice if the lockable door had the function of a lockable sliding door.

I like this product. We rent and cannot get a storm door. Or a permanent dog flap. I put it by my window with a step stool inside and outside for my little puppies (Yorkies). I also got a few squares of peel and stick carpet to protect the window seal inside and to put stools for the clutch. Even my 16 year old blind dog figured it out! I took some goodies and cooked them back and forth for about 5 minutes. Works great and no more crashes indoors.

This is a great purchase. It's easy to install, my cats handled it with ease and I love that it locks at night. I thought the dial would be the lock, but it was a door that had to be placed over a double door, so I had to maneuver around the edge of the window. Not a big deal, but the dial looked really cool.
