Great buy at a good price

Great buy for the price - well made; useful for developing perspective/figure drawing skills, etc. It is a good tool for comic book beginners.

Pros
  • Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great gift for a young artist!

I got this for my 12 year old nephew for his birthday. He's a really great artist and it was hard to find a gift he liked. He loved this gift! I was so happy! Definitely glad I bought this item!

Pros
  • Arts, paints and crafts supplies
Cons
  • Available in black only

Good start but needs more flesh

The concept is great and it starts off by providing perspective for drawing backgrounds, buildings etc. Each section describes the concept and at the end there are many blank templates. practice pages. It is more of a beginner's workbook than a sketchbook reference. Not enough in each section and if you want to learn how to draw characters for comics you need more than that. You can search for Andrew Loomis instead. I didn't count but I would say only 1/5 of the book has content. The rest are…

Pros
  • Art paper
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
