Good features at a good price

I've been looking for a few key features in Revain for a long time. This product met all of my needs including a low profile power plug that stays out of the way and allows furniture to be placed next to the plug. USB ports are also one of the features I was looking for. The power adapter also comes with a power switch. I have other extensions with rotating plugs and big slots for different size plugs, but for the price, this extension is a really good deal for me.

Good extension with one caveat.

Excellent extension cord for the money. I like that the power supply is a button that needs to be pressed on purpose, not a toggle switch that can be accidentally turned on or off. USB sockets are very convenient, but most new power strips now have them. The only thing I would change is the mounting holes on the back. They are quite small, as are the screws that come with them. If you mount this on the wall, it's too easy to wiggle/wiggle when you unplug it.

Not ETL or UL certified, undersized power cord, poorly assembled inside

Normally I wouldn't risk a power strip from an unknown brand, but the description of this iEcopower surge protector says "FCC/ETL CERTIFIED", so at least there was some hope. But before we go any further, let's note that the FCC has nothing to do with surge protectors, so that claim (often boasted by foreign manufacturers) is practically meaningless. On the other hand, the ETL certification will be important as it indicates that the product has been validated by a testing laboratory to meet US…

Exactly what we needed!

This is exactly what we were looking for. We live in an old house with very few outlets and when we redecorated our bedroom there were no outlets at the head of our bed to plug in lights and phone chargers. We bought this and pinned it along our trim to route it to where we needed it. Went like clockwork. Plenty of outlets to plug anything into and high speed USB ports are a double bonus for our phones! I like the flat, low-profile fork because everything is flat against the wall.

Good product in power strips

Good port layout and 4 USB ports provide good extra capacity without increasing the size of the power strip. My Android phone doesn't say I'm using fast charging when using the USB ports, but it charges fast. If I plug the phone into an outlet at 25% charge it takes 1:20 to fully charge, if using a USB port it takes 1:30 and if plugged into a computer port, it takes 4:30 . So I'm fast enough.

Toasted UV box with USB for 2 hours. Do not use USB ports!

At first I thought it was great, beautiful and durable. So I plugged everything in and plugged my little ultraviolet hearing aid box into one of the USB ports. After a few hours I wanted to turn on the UV box and saw that the plug and UV box had burned out. See photos! The UV box was working great until I connected it to this extension. Now I have to buy a new UV box for -$50! It works for regular plugs, but don't use it to power your USB ports! (Luckily I haven't used it to charge my phone…

I bought two of these. One for my home entertainment center and one for my daughter's room because she keeps stealing my USB wall chargers lol. First, it's great for my home theater as many devices these days require USB power or USB charging.
