Just what I need

Need something to hold a blunt object so you don't burn your fingers. Oh wait I mean I had to hook up a bunch of test leads, yeah that's it!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Very expensive

Excellent clips for crafting

We take for crafting. We make our own Christmas decorations and use clips to attach them to the tree. You are perfect for this job.

Pros

Cons

Would buy again. Suitable for hand tools

God so many clips. Not the best I've seen, but certainly not the worst. I am happy with my purchase and I think you probably would be too. I would buy them again but I will probably never need them.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Protection

Alligator or Crocodile?

Whatever you call them, good ones are hard to find! Most of them are fragile and bend easily. And they have low clamping force (they should be called anemic ant clamps). Not so with these. These are good strong clips that will take a lot of abuse. If you need good ones, order them.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Empty

They're fun for pesky siblings and pets

Alligator clips. They're fun for annoying siblings and pets! You can pin them here, there, anywhere! *Just kidding, don't attach them to your pets* They work well for many purposes, I use them to fix diffusion and color gels on photo light fixtures. But I'm sure if you're interested in electricity you can have fun with them too because they're definitely designed for cables.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes

Very good for painting models and a bit useful for electronics.

Very good for model painting. Any commercially available wooden skewer will work with it. If you attach them to a skewer, you must remember that they must be crimped. To protect the crimp (and yourself) you will need to wrap electrical tape or something similar around the crimp area. The head of these crimps is quite narrow. This allows you to crimp many small parts without fear of them coming loose. I also used them for electronics. Soldering with them is a bit easier, but you have to be…

Pros
  • Clamps
Cons
  • discontinued

Make your own test leads with a spare lead.

I bought a set of wires with alligator clips to test my random projects but wasn't happy with the quality. The problem I had is a bad connection between the clip and the wire or a wire that is too small. (usually 20-22 ha for around $10). This can ruin your day when you're trying to troubleshoot and eventually realize your test jumper is the problem. own custom test leads! Tips: I only recommend this for low voltage DC projects. Use electrical tape or gorilla tape to insulate the clips.

Pros
  • Hand Tool
Cons
  • Expensive
