Very good for model painting. Any commercially available wooden skewer will work with it. If you attach them to a skewer, you must remember that they must be crimped. To protect the crimp (and yourself) you will need to wrap electrical tape or something similar around the crimp area. The head of these crimps is quite narrow. This allows you to crimp many small parts without fear of them coming loose. I also used them for electronics. Soldering with them is a bit easier, but you have to be careful because sometimes they can damage circuit boards. I highly recommend them and will buy more in the future.
