Well I was fooled, I thought this was a true Dewalt tool. Not even close. As soon as you put it in your hands you can tell it’s cheap plastic. It’s top heavy without a battery in. The terminals are always exposed which means dust and dirt can get in. If you put a Dewalt 5 amp hr battery in it cannot rotate all the way because the battery hits the lower feet. I returned it and I’m lookin for something different. It is super bright, but for the money I think I’ll try and look for something else.

You get about 20 minutes of run time on a 20 V battery. I own 8 20 V Max batteries and it is the same no matter which one is in there not impressed with Work time on the light

This light is extremely bright and is great for power outages or just working on the car at night. I love the fact that it uses multiple types of batteries that recharge and you can plug-in as well

I love this product, the only option I wish it had is a brightness dial. I use it for camping and it would be nice to dim the brightness

Nice bright work light. Really like that I can use multiple types of batteries. Battery fit is ok but had some small flimsy parts. Will see how long it stays tight. Light is very bright so it dose suck through the 20v’s

I really liked this light even though it is clearly not of professional quality like a DeWalt product. This is for home use, it wouldn't last long on a job site, but I appreciate the versatility built into its design. What I don't appreciate is that after 14 months of using it only a handful of times in light duty at-home applications it stopped working. I used this light for working inside of cabinets to screw counter top to cabs. Only got to use it 3 times then light didn't work. Found cause, was due to cheap thin wiring.

Bought this for a birthday gift for my husband. He is so pleased with it. Tried it out immediately and he was very impressed.

Nice light and very powerfulMaybe the hooks are not really useful but as a work light I like it.It was better if the frame was with some rubber protection.Tested with Dewalt 20v battery and with Dc power adapter, and is the same powerful light.You can use it with batteries or with dc power adapter.

battery life is good enough for my liking and lasted for what I needed it to. Light is bright and does what its intended to do.

Abundant light, works with multiple types of batteries. I have not had a chance to see how long the battery life will be, but it is a very nice design.

Been borrowing my bosses ryobi cordless light but wanted my own and I have dewalt stuff. I love the ryobi one and still do but this one is just as bright if not a tiny brighter and it's my dewalt colors and runs on my dewalt batteries. Would definitely recommend this as a good buy!

First off, this is NOT a DeWalt branded tool. However, it looks almost like one, and is almost worthy of carrying the DeWalt label. This light will use a variety of tool batteries. I have only used it with the DeWalt 20V and FlexVolt batteries. It will run a little over 2 hours with a 3A 20V battery, almost 3 hours with a 4A 20V battery, and over 5 hours with a 6A FlexFolt battery.This throws A LOT of light. Not good for the Makita battery-- the terminals move each time the battery is removed. Also the unused battery terminals are always exposed. Flimsy construction compared to Makita. I expected a better DC adapter for the price. I am returning this item. The Tacklif 5000LM 50W LED worklight (AC powered only) along with my existing Makita Flashlights are a better match for me.

Works with my Ruobi 18v batteries and the knock offs, really bright, I mean.really bright! beats my twin 500w halogen light ! only complaint is light shuts off if I bump it, but turns back on with power button.

Seems to work fine with a Dewalt 20V Max XR 4.0 AH battery. Quite an interesting design, but the photos in the instructions weren't as detailed as they might have been. The manufacturer did post a video that made the connection more clear. You have to rotate the appropriate set of contacts into the exposed position so that you can have the correct connection for the particular battery you're using. I have only initially tested this work light, I have not put it through any extended use, but, it is extremely bright, it is easy to adjust and maneuver. Where the battery is located gives it a very stable base for use on a flat surface. I bought this as a very handy option for any corded or cordless tool operation where I don't have an LED built into the tool, or have no light period.

Make sure to get insurance because you get a different light. The one that flashes when battery is low when you get insurance.
