Perfect for practice!

I bought this set thinking it was a lot bigger than it actually was, but it's my fault for not reading the measurements before purchasing. However, it's still a great little practice set or a great set for kids.

Obvious different amount of each color. Difficult. Doesn't work with other brands.

Each color has a different quantity. They looked different so I weighed them. Yes. And you get so little with each color that it's hard to use. Don't expect this to be able to be used with other brands. The texture is SUPER hard and you have to work with it to get softer, but every other clay is softer than this one, so it WILL NOT work with, say, Sculpey Polymer Clay.

Many colors for fun and creative clay figures

Media could not be loaded. Our 9 year old daughter loves to make creative figures with this polymer clay starter set; provide a lot of fun with the imagination. This set comes with a nice plastic storage case for 62 colors of polymer clay, tools and supplies. We found polymer clay to be soft in texture and easy to shape with sculpting tools. Good putty for children and beginners

This putty is ideal for beginners and children. For creative people, the (mineral?) oil around each stone looks a little weird. It keeps things from drying out, which I appreciate, but it also thins the clay out a bit if you pinch off a small piece of it. I still find it a bit soft. I can fix this by adding 5-10 minutes to my next batch's bake time, but it's something I get tired of. However, this tone is definitely a great and fun job to do on a rainy day! Highly recommend for kids, not too…

The kids love it. quality and value.

I just want to say to parents to let their kids know that making small sculptures will make two things happier: 1) Learning the cooking time takes a little practice. 2) The small pieces of different colors attached to the main body are easy to fall off. To counteract this, you can insert a toothpick cut to length between two parts (e.g. the snowman's head and torso).
