Look for loose feet after minimal use.

Great tripod for walking and shooting guns. Great for weddings, although the base of my tripod came loose and the Allen wrench provided didn't tighten it and the leg broke off and wouldn't snap into place. It would be nice if they provided the necessary Allen wrench to tighten the back of the legs, not just the front. It happened at a wedding, it was very difficult to stabilize the frames. This is not the case if tripod legs should come loose after the third use!

Pure Awesomeness: Complete Tripods

I've wanted this tripod for a long time and finally got so fed up with the Leofoto tripod that I decided to pull the trigger. This baby is pretty! Like clasp locks instead of knobs. I love Fast Bowl. I paired it with a Pro Media Gear Katan Jr, red (oh yeah) and it looks and works great. With this setting I will no longer use the ball head, not even for landscapes. Once I level the Fastbowl, all I have to worry about is raising and lowering, and the gimbal does it for me. I am surprised how…

The best tripod I have ever had

This tripod is amazing! It's very durable, easy to use, and has a few design cues that I'm sure other brands will copy. First, it's very durable, especially for a standless tripod. I've used it in many different scenarios and it works great for its size and weight. The leg clips are easy to adjust and make no noise. They glide better than any other tripod I've used, with the exception of the super high-end Sachtler. The best thing about this tripod is the pivoting top mount that allows you to…

Well designed and well designed

I have owned this tripod for a few months now and use it in different scenarios and I really like it. I wish the head could be retracted a little more easily. It doesn't fold up close to your feet or hang from your bag, but that's a minor complaint. Vibration is a big complaint but can easily be reduced by adding the included hook to the base. Many highlights. First, it's surprisingly light. Ease of use is excellent and accurate. The versatility is great. This tripod is well constructed and…

Almost perfect though.

I have been very happy with this tripod since I opened the box. The included soft case has the nice feature that it can be expanded to hold a head and tripod. The only thing I didn't like about this tripod was the locking mechanism on the pan tray to level the camera. A week after purchase, I noticed that iFootage was offering a $20 upgrade that offered a buckle lock instead of the included twist lock. The buckle is 100 times better than the one that comes with the kit. iFootage clearly knows…

The best carbon fiber tripod on the market

As a professional photographer, I need something light and durable. The iFootage Uprise TC6 was perfect for me in terms of maximum height, maximum carrying capacity, and overall ease of use. The tripod is very ergonomic and technically well thought out. One of my criticisms of most tripods is that they have too many extendable shaft sections, while this one only has two per leg. This makes setup quick and easy. Another feature I love among many others is the metal brackets that attach the…

Very handy for a landscape photographer.

The tripod is well made. I use it for landscape photography. This makes it very easy to align the camera to adjust the panorama. Rivets are incorporated into the legs. I have a few bugs that I hoped could be fixed in version 2.1. There are 2 flip locks on each leg. Now that it's fully extended, it's way too high. The level of the bubble will be at the level of my forehead. And if you only expand one section. It's too low. I think I'm pretty normal at 6ft 10. ;). Maybe trim 2 inches off each…

Solid tripod, though. on tripods and monopods

I actually bought this thing, unlike dozens of YouTubers who touted it to me. That's what I think. What I like: Large, but quite short when folded. Smooth leg extensions. BIG grommets/control valves on everything. The alignment function works well (that's why I bought it) of medium wave. Bolt to rubber is easy to convert. Comes with a TOO nice bag. I wish they would just deduct $$ from the cost of the tripod. What I don't like: The price is high, I can feel the quality. Not noticeably lighter…

Almost perfect though.

I was looking for a more portable carbon fiber tripod that is lighter than my compact Gitzo Mountaineer Series 2 and Traveler tripods. Going out to shoot was like Goldilocks balancing between too hot and too cold (in the case of a tripod that was too heavy and too light). With multiple tripod heads and a gimbal to get the job done, all I really needed was a sturdy pair of legs. I was intrigued by the Fastbowl concept so I watched a few YouTube videos from current users before purchasing this…
