📏 iGaging Digital Mounting for Bridgeport with Fraction Display Review

Installed on my Southbend mill in under 1 hour. It has been verified to be accurate and reproducible within the specified tolerance. Reading seems solid and failsafe.

Bought this "DRO pen" for an ACRA Bridgeport clone with only XY display. A few questions. 1. The stamped holder is completely asymmetrical. 2. The caps that hold the fixed DRO rail don't fit the mount at all. 3 The biggest problem is the poor quality of the cheap DRO head. It reads so slowly that the device is useless. This item wouldn't cost money if it was FREE. A complete waste of time and effort. fair warning.

I used to be very impressed with iging products. Their calipers are fantastic value for money as well as their absolute benchmark. I was very disappointed in this product. Readings update incredibly slowly, making it difficult to use in real-time (e.g. hole to depth). If you're just going to use it to set a pin then that's fine, otherwise I would have spent money on a Mita. For the money I expected better.
