Some colors worked well, but some remained clumpy no matter how hard we tried. White was completely useless. When the colors worked it was a nice bright color and strong UV response. Seems like I can get the old set

The colors themselves are very pleasant. The package I received had most of the flowers that had separated and dried up. I tried blending it but it's still dry. I'm guessing it was really old stock that sat on the shelf forever. Consider getting them from a smooth retailer instead of here.

I am an artist and wanted to work with styrofoam. I bought this sampler to test. These colors are great! You'll need to use quite a bit of pigment if you want your foam to be alive as it will expand a lot. I didn't try them under black light, I just liked the neon colors. Smooth-On is also a great company and offers great customer support.

Unfortunately I received the first batch of Ignite Pigments and they were half cured. I quickly requested a replacement for this original batch and received a second batch that was exactly the same. I contacted Smooth-On directly and they stated that the pigments only have a shelf life of 3 years after checking the packaging, the pigments I received were manufactured in 2015.
