Description of 🔑 06351-TE0-A11 MOTOKU Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Key for Honda CR-V Element Pilot Accord, and Acura MDX RDX TSX ZDX TL

Replace Part # 06351-TE0-A11. You must purchase additional transponder key/keys to complete installation. The new ignition come with one non-transponder key but your vehicle use one of the two optional transponder keys (HO01 / HO03) you must purchase, cut, and program the correct transponder key for your vehicle (check by the following list). If you do not wish to have new set of keys (different then your door lock keys) you can take the new ignition cylinder to a locksmith and have him re-key it to match your current keys!. Great product for the price I recommend

Great product for the price The transponder that was in the key doesn't work So I took the OEM key, cut out the transponder and bought the one I put in, Works flawlessly.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Something else

Just get it! And choose the ones you need.

Huge savings and labor. Do it yourself before trying, make sure you understand how to do it, otherwise you may encounter installation problems due to many attempts. Even better would be 2 keys or even a keyless remote.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Good but not great

Saved me hundreds of parts

If I could give this one more stars I would. I saved over $300 on the parts alone. I was lucky enough to have a flair for mechanics so it took me about an hour. The key does not have to be reprogrammed, the chip is simply inserted into the new key. The only downside is that you had a separate key for the ignition rather than the door and trunk. But that's the only inconvenience I highly recommend using on my 2003 four-cylinder Honda Accord EX.

Pros
  • Outstanding design
Cons
  • A few minor things

Does not fit directly on lock cylinder

The part does not seem to fit the cylinder but the protection bar that goes into the shaft is wrong. it shouldn't have all those bulges on the silver long thing, it should be a smooth long stick with a bulge on the end, had to pull the old one off and put it on, works great after that. For people who don't know what they're doing, this isn't considered a straight fit and I wouldn't advise trying.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Does not fit on all

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works as advertised

I installed it on a 2004 accordion and it worked. For anyone watching some videos, I was able to remove the cylinder without removing the entire assembly around the steering column. There were two screws that I had to unscrew at an angle and chew a bit, but they came out. Also, I had to remove the RFID chip from the original key and place it in a small compartment in the new key. I read a few blogs that said you could just glue the old wrench head to the new one and it would work. That wasn't…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • band

Honda crv 2004 awd ex

Installation is not difficult, just tedious. You need to remove the small spiral pin. You will need to drill next to the roll pin and pry it out with a pickaxe. Pull it out and you can slide in the new assembly. I simply removed the plastic part, drilled a hole over the old part and pulled the assembly out with the wrench inside. Removed broken plate with small spring and reassembled. I gave it 3 stars, it is useless for me to install a new part with only one key. It's pointless. A square hole…

Pros
  • Working without hands
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Potentially helpful tips.

I bought this for my 2003 Honda CR-V. All other auto parts stores will force you to buy a complete ignition cylinder assembly for $200-$400. A lot of these Hondas have problems with inhibitor switches failing, ignition toggle switches were 3 out of 4 so I was pretty sure I only had to replace that part. Some things I learned: Once you've passed the bolt safety check (hammer and chisel worked best for me), this part is incredibly easy to replace. When I first went to have this part replaced I…

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
