Easy to set up for use with Holofit

Holofit on Oculus recommends this product and was so easy to put together. I didn't have room to tie it to the elliptical trainer so I just glued it on. That works great. I like that it just wakes up when I move and I don't have to press any buttons. I also needed one for my exercise bike so instead of unwinding and tying I bought another one.

  • Some cons

Works well on a spin bike

Crossed my fingers I bought this for my spin bike which doesn't have a rev counter. This sensor came with a battery and was easy to install on a bicycle crank. I linked it to the Wahoo mobile app and it works fine. I've used it for about 10 trips and haven't had any problems. I find it helpful to get very close (physically) to the sensor when pairing with bluetooth/app. Better price than most cadence sensors so it was risky to buy but it works great! Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Electronics and gadgets
Cons
  • poorly designed

lousy mounting system but worked until it got out of my grip

The elastic strap that came with it wasn't tight enough to keep it in line with my grip and eventually hold it on my grip. it kept getting lost and had to be adjusted. I had to attach it with strong double sided tape or something. One day I looked down and it just wasn't there. Lost on the trail, who knows where. Also, I was slow to update my bike computer/GPS with accurate information when quickly changing cadence. For a road cyclist it would be nice if you could leave it attached.

Pros
  • cycle computer
Cons
  • the list would be long.
