Super bright. But lavender. If you align it correctly, this is what it looks like. I ended up ordering a gel to make it white instead of purple. (3 coats of Lee 246, that's 1/4 plus green gel and that worked) I can still afford to lose some brightness as it's too bright to turn on while driving. It's still cool and bright, it just wasn't white at all.

Great product. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the instructions don't come with it. Fortunately, there are a few YouTube videos that will help with this. Very bright light, that's cool. Be careful if you live in the south. I had the door open and the light on and soon the bugs started swarming lol.

Yes, they're LEDs, so they'll be bright. The entire interior is illuminated which helped with the black interior in my Toyota 86. Works with dimming from opening doors and parking. When driving at night, it's a big visual change when it lights up. I left it on as I searched for about 10 minutes and the plastic covering the light was medium to hot to the touch. Gosh, I didn't know I was going to install the sun in my cabin! This was a huge upgrade for my BRZ and the interior and trunk lights were extremely easy to use, all you had to do was pry the plastic lens out with a small screwdriver. The only reason I shoot the star is because the cockpit light relies on the clear plastic diffuser/lens and it gets hot. I'm not comfortable leaving it on for more than a few minutes. I love that this kit has 2 bulbs, a cab and a trunk. On the BRZ, the trunk is back-to-back with a drop. The interior lamp required a bit more work as it is not a drop in a bulb and no instructions are included. If you use the cabin light adapter provided, you can attach it and disconnect the wires at the other end. Then wrap the bare wire around each of the lighting pins and tape each one in place.
