We are treating an injured stray cat and needed to keep him somewhere safe in the room and not have him wandering around. This took my Dad FOREVER to put together. Long story short, pieces that hold the cage together are flimsy and not secure. Some of the pieces were missing. The minute we were able to get the cage together they kept sliding out. I gave it 2 stars because of the cost, but otherwise if you are looking for at cage, buy one that's more sturdy

I purchased this cage in order to house a small litter of kittens I am fostering. It is perfect! Very sturdy if you assemble it correctly. I used the zipties in the corners, door, and top for the extra support, used the extra hollow frames to stabilize all the platforms, and set up the platforms in a way that it helps hold up the middle of top as well. First of all, when I tried filling the kittens bowl of water, the flimsy cage collapsed causing me to fall, hit my head on the garage cement wall, passed out a few seconds, then when I tried getting up, I fell into the litter box. This cage took a great deal of time to put together but our kitty needed a secure space to be restricted for a repotty training period. She seems to really love this. The other pets cannot get into her personal space at all. We set this up several weeks back and it has proved to be worth its weight and cost. This can be configured in about a zillion ways. Your imagination is about the only limiting factor. The kitten absolutely loves the setup. She has her space to roam around protected from the dogs and kids when she wants it. It holds her bed, the litter box, toys, and free space. We have this for our bunny, and it is so cool. You can create the size how and how big you want it, it is not as sturdy as I hoped it would be, but it still works.

Does not come with enough parts to make the 4x4x4 you see in the pictures, so the size is off by A LOT. Not too hard to put together, but definitely not getting what you paid for.

The only thing holding this thing together is zip ties. I have kittens, they pull it apart. KITTENS! 6 wks old. 4 six week old kittens, pull it apart! Don’t buy it.

Not sturdy at all falls apart constantly cat jumps on it and something always pops apart. Waste of $200 maybe worth $60 max. Sux buy something sturdy if ur needing something like this. Maybe wood or something this is horrible maybe good for a ferret or something smaller than a cat. But not a cat.
