My cats love it. I was suspicious because it doesn't have a back like my last one. The sisal is so rough that I really hope it doesn't scratch my table legs, I also want it to have velcro throughout as it buckles between the velcro straps and doesn't stay flush with the table leg.

That's wonderful. I used this to make a custom scratching post for my cat. He loves to fetch storage baskets on the subway counter in my kitchen and I don't have much room for a traditional scratching post so I wrapped and secured a sheet of cork around the subway counter and then wrapped it over it. As you can see he loves it and it works great.

I'm so happy with this purchase! My cat scratched the chair in our living room so I needed something else to scratch. She started using this rug as soon as I opened the package! I was also amazed at how quickly it arrived. I ordered on Thursday and it was at my doorstep on Saturday. Great price and so quick and convenient. I highly recommend it!

Bought for a traveling 9 week old kitten. She got used to it immediately and every day. A plug-in toy, which is inserted between the table leg and the mat, draws it to the scratching post (please). Within 5 weeks the border will be separated from the mat. It doesn't scratch much so I believe this rug is faulty or poor quality and for that reason I cannot recommend it. LOVE the idea though

I've tried other scratch media but Kotik ignores them. She scratches on the old sofa (but not the new one) and the old carpet (and tries the new carpet too, but so far we've managed to distract her). I soaked this item in silver wine and catnip for more than 24 hours and then let it dry. I put it on the table leg, showed it to Kitty, put my paws on it and now she only uses it in the RV. TO WIN!

Living in a small apartment, I'm always on the lookout for space-saving cat solutions. This scratching post wraps perfectly around my kitchen bar support beam and doesn't look too out of place. It took my cat a few days to get used to this, but giving him a treat every time he scratched helped him use it more often. After a few weeks of use there will be some wear as the fibers come loose but that is to be expected. Overall a great purchase!

I am traveling with a cat and needed a scratch mat that was easy to pack but had vertical scratch marks. It exceeded my expectations. My cat is trained to only scratch sisal but gets lost in hotel rooms. This rug can be laid on the floor, draped over the armrest of a chair, or wrapped around a furniture leg (e.g. a table leg) and fastened with Velcro to create a vertical scratching surface. This is absolutely the perfect solution for our needs.

I bought them direct from IKEA for the first time but after about a year they were quite worn out. I was happy to see them on Revain and ordered new ones. They don't fit any of our table legs, but they fit perfectly on the banister.
