I bought this product last year. Upon receipt, I installed the product and it worked for a day. I sent it back and got a replacement. The fan should turn on automatically at the temperature you set. It's always a guessing game. Does the fan turn on at 76 when set to 78? 80? If I manually turn on the fan, which is common, how long does the fan run before the device turns it off? At 83 or maybe at 79? Your guess is as good as mine.
