Description of Illuminator Falcon Eyes SpotLight 70LED BW

SpotLight 70LED BW is an LED illuminator for spot lighting with a beam opening angle of 15-75o. The small size and weight of the illuminator (770 g), as well as the possibility of autonomous power supply, make it possible to use the device even in small studios or outdoor photo and video shootings. The kit includes a bag-case measuring 380x125x225 mm for carrying and storing. COB-matrix II generation LED lamp Ø20 mm provides a high level of color rendering (CRI 96) and good linearity of the spectrum - due to this, a professional quality of displaying color shades in the frame is achieved. The reliable metal housing of the illuminator is connected to a plastic casing that covers the electronic controls. The casing has two rows of perforations for ventilation of the device. To prevent dust from getting inside the device, the perforated holes are protected with a fine mesh. The classic Fresnel lens with a diameter of 75 mm, which is included in the kit of the device, allows you to create a uniform light spot. Plano-parallel lens is made of optical polymer glass 2 mm thick. On the outer side of the lens, concentric circles are applied to focus the rays. On the inside - microlenses to equalize the illumination inside the light spot. The lens has high light transmission and does not change the color temperature of the source. The ring for adjusting the angle of the opening of the light flux is made of rubber with notches for better grip. The opening angle of the light flux 15-75o is achieved by rotating the adjusting ring 1.5 turns. A scale is applied on the body of the device for precise setting of the opening angle. The control panel is located on the back of the illuminator, on the panel there are 4 control buttons - on, off and two brightness adjustment buttons. The rubberized monolithic buttons protect from hit of moisture and dust in the device. The brightness value is smoothly adjustable from 1 to 100% and is displayed on a high-contrast digital display. The display also shows the battery level and color temperature. The device is powered by a mains adapter 100-240V 50Hz/12V 7A, the total cable length is 4 m. It is possible to connect via a D-Tape/mini XLP 4 pin cable (included) to an external battery (not included), for example, a Sony battery V-mount, etc. The device also has a platform for an NP-F 7.4V battery (the battery is not included in the kit). Removable 4-blade metal shutters 1 mm thick are securely attached to the body and precisely fixed in the desired position. Two curtains have 2 additional unfolding petals to precisely limit the light flux, change the shape and area of the light spot. The shutters are screwed to the metal body of the illuminator and, if necessary, are replaced with a removable metal Bowens adapter, which is used to attach light-shaping attachments to the illuminator - softboxes, reflectors, cones. Light filters allow you to lower equalize the light flux and create artistic effects. C

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, the light for fast shooting tasks is very convenient to use. The lens works, the beam is even. Got pros: The price is pleasant, build quality, compactness, a lot of attachments, filters included. Possibility to be powered by Sony Akum. Has cons: The push-button control is a little inconvenient, the dimmer handle is more convenient.

Average product, you can do better.

It looks quite presentable in the photo: a bag, filters, a bayonet adapter, etc. In fact, the illuminator works (while it works, let's see what happens after n number of photo hours), but personally I have a feeling that I significantly overpaid for it Some pros: Shines. An almost sufficient set for beginners, also with a bag. Brightness changes smoothly. Cons below: Almost everything is made of plastic, the filters are also plastic (dust sticks to "cheers") and, moreover, the lens is plastic -
