ILoveSIA Womens Quilted Padded Thicken Review

Ordered one size up based on many reviews. I'm 5ft 4in, 140, and prefer to wear real winter clothes underneath. A lot of the coats at Revain seem to be made for incredibly petite women, so I trusted the reviews. I usually get 10 so I ordered 12. It was huge and looked like a giant army green garbage bag. It fit like a 14/16. I wasn't too happy that I had to return it. I took a chance on a completely different coat as the sizing seemed very far from this one.

This coat is very warm and light. The sleeve cuff fits snugly around the arm, keeping air out of the sleeve and that was a nice touch that I wasn't aware of when I bought the coat. It packs and compresses well. It is long and reaches mid-thigh. I wore this coat in Boston when the temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit, not counting the cold wind, and I was warm. I received this coat today. OMG I LOVE IT! I'm a size 10 but ordered a size up so I can wear a sweater underneath. This coat is beautiful. Other reviews warned me and I bought a much larger size thinking that sweater and blazer should fit underneath and was told it runs small. So the fit of what I got was fine. In person it's clearly more like a jacket and less like a coat, so more informal than I was hoping (I bought it to wear to the funerals at the funerals I attend). I needed a reasonably priced coat for outdoor work and activities that would get it dirty like carrying firewood, shoveling snow, hanging around the campfire etc. I think it's perfect for something.
