When I took them off, I pulled out the wooden boards with the lanterns attached, wrapped the lamps around the boards and put them away.

However, the switch is where the string of lights starts, so I have to reach behind the curtains to turn it on. I wish it was closer to where you plug it in. Also, it blinks like crazy every time you plug it in, and I have to do different things to get a consistent light. I want it to stay with whatever feature you choose, so all you have to do is toggle it on and off.

I would like to start by saying that I really like the color and brightness of the backlight. The controls were a little tricky though, as you had to tap them in the settings to get the one you wanted. After about 20 days of using it every day for about 2-4 hours it started doing this weird flickering like it was a short circuit.
