I have an RJ11 version for use with phone cords or in my case a data cord which is similar to a phone cord. It uses all 6 6p6c conductors. I used two 25' cords to get 50'. I don't know what baud rate I'm using, but it works. Make sure the connector is fully inserted.

Used this product on a home project and found the pins on one side of the coupler were reversed on the other side of the coupler. Had it been an integral clutch, the pin arrangement would not have changed. I was still working on my project after finding out, but the buyer should beware as this is a mislabeled product.

I had cables that were pierced on the other end and I needed to extend them, not replace them. I bought 5 packs for next to nothing and now I have 3 left. They worked perfectly. If you just need to extend your phone line, this is what you need. They are well made too.
