So I got this as a gift for a friend and was so embarrassed when they called me and said it made no sense. So I ordered another one and again the same thing was cumbersome, didn't work again! I even went around and took different flavors and still leaned to the side and didn't stay in place. looks nice but doesn't work which is useless

I was going to love this but it's not functional at all. The hole in the stem of the incense leaf is drilled at an angle, so the incense does not stick directly above the ashtray, but falls on the surface where the burner rests. Absolutely useless. I really love the little snail and if the hole was right I would love it!

This is beautiful! Judging by the pictures, I thought so. The only thing I don't like about the big leaf is that the hole that the end of the incense stick fits in is too big. I have to use an extra burned end to make my incense twist up and out of the burner. I haven't tried the snail burner yet. I don't seem to have any trouble using it for stickless incense.

Excellent. The problem I had before was that most incense holders were narrow and the ash would fall out of the holder. This holder was wide enough to collect all the ashes. I'm not sure if the snail part is useful or not (it doesn't seem to contain any incense), but the leaf part is worth the price. It looks good and has not discolored or faded after many uses.

In this review I am talking about this incense holder as two separate parts: a leaf and a scroll. The leaf works great, places incense easily and is easy to clean. The snail, on the other hand, is terrible. It doesn't match the photo, the only hole is too small to hold Japanese incense sticks on the sink. There are no holes on the case like in the photo. I would happily rate this a full 5 stars if the product matched the photo.

The holes in both the blade and the small auger are not drilled straight, so it is useless. This thing's only job is to keep the ashes and embers in the bowl, in fact, it doesn't even do that. 1 star because zero stars is impossible. I have about 10 incense burners and I burn them all day and I think this is my new favorite incense burner. I'm in love with her! It's so cute and very durable / good quality for the price!
