We've only used this box once with an incense stick, we were having lunch and suddenly all the smoke alarms in the house went off as we checked to see if the box was literally on fire. Be aware, not a safe dangerous product.

I like that the incense sticks fit into the slots in the box and that all the ash is neatly caught. I've been looking for something like this for a while. Very happy with the look and functionality of this box.

I ordered more out of curiosity. and my last torch/holder fell apart. How could it work? I still don't know but it is! And i love it! It is well made, with a black felt backing. I don't know how long that will take. I think changing the pads would be a good idea.

Just received. So far, so good! I wanted a long incense burner that wouldn't get tangled up with ash. This not only solves this problem, there are also no sparks when I move the burner, everything is in there. Just had to break off the stick at the end to put it in the box, easy. Light it, blow out the flame and put it in the box. Put on the magnetic lid and enjoy the fragrant smoke. We love incense in our house, this burner is great!

Too many problems to return or I would have problems. It is beautiful and I have it to keep the ashes in one place but there is no way to put the incense down without putting it out. It needs a small hole in the end to hold it in place a bit to allow air to flow around it and burn it. I was concerned this would start a flame on the felt. I don't understand how it's even allowed to be sold. Don't waste money!

When I received the product, at first I thought it was defective because I couldn't find the hole for the incense stick. It has no hole. This is different from placing incense sticks on a black cloth and letting it burn on it. I doubted it would catch fire, but it didn't. It's fireproof. I wanted a simple incense burner so the ash wouldn't fly everywhere, especially as I might burn a few chopsticks before cleaning. This box looks great, and I love the idea of a "flameless" cloth for the incense to sit on. However, the wand appears to burn when it touches the fabric. Also, my current incense is too long for the box. So I just snap off the end of the stick and use it to support the incense so it can burn freely. This system works well as long as the cover is off.
