Made my own lamp using this rope and a piece of driftwood my husband found. We put some yellow Edison bulbs in the sockets and it looks great.

I bought this 3 months ago. I found him perfect. Today I turned it on, the switch lit up and both hemp ropes started smoking. I don't know if it was an accidental defect but it could have caused serious damage.

Look closely at the photos and specifications. I thought each pendant light would hang from a T-joint, but only 2 or 3. So if you want them to hang lower, like over a crossbar, you can't hang all 3 lights the same length. I liked the look of the lanterns, but I sent them back for that reason.

I bought 2 pieces a year ago. "Triple Pendant Light Wire Kit". They look good and initially worked as expected. The reason for 3 stars is that one of the two started to fail after half a year. The lights flicker and are dimmed to 30-50% of max most of the time making it hard to see. Tried different bulbs, different sockets, nothing helped. I can't find the supplier's contact information to try to resolve the issue.

This 3-rope pendant light is perfect! I've been waiting for a month for it to be back on sale! I really liked this idea and bought some retro light bulbs to put in. Very easy to install, but the design has flaws. For the first two lights they have this black T shaped guide piece to spread them out and keep going. Maybe I didn't read the fine print well enough, but I was surprised at how huge it is. I suspect the "industrial" aspect of this design means it's designed to hang from 12-foot ceilings. The lowest hanging of the pendants (they are not the same) is 4 feet from the socket to the ground, and that doesn't include the shade or bulb!
