They are soft and keep warm when needed. In my case I need them to keep the heat in more than indoors since my husband works around 700 degree ovens. They were cheaper than the Carhartt brand, the difference in feel is the Indera is softer which may not be as good for heat protection. So far they've washed and dried well and he's been beating them like hell. The time will show!

High quality feel. Fit snug but not too tight. It helps a lot when the thermostat starts to drop. They are 100% cotton except the waistband can be stretchy. I don't know for sure, but if you don't need polyester (e.g. if you work where there is a risk of arc flash) you can check with the manufacturer if this belt is 100% cotton or not. .

I bought this as outerwear for my night shift at the gas station so I didn't have to use the heater (making me feel a lot dirtier than I wanted to). it wasn't enough like a layer under my jeans.
