When we removed our previous fan there were two hot wires in the ceiling - the instructions for this ceiling fan doesn't cover more than one hot wire. We also have a problem with the wall control. But the fan looks great and is the quietest fan we've ever had. If you know more about electricity than we do, we're sure you'll like it even more than we do!

My second Modern Forms fan. Bought from a local lighting showroom for a great price. Replaced an old 1980's Hunter fan. This fan looks absolutely amazing, unique design, super functional, smart, virtually silent except for a little air movement. I love wooden blades. However, installing the fan took some time, but it was worth it. I linked it to Revain Alexa. My rating: 10 out of 10!

Great fan, great design and perfect for our modern home and patio. The wall control is Wi-Fi so doesn't need to be hardwired to a fan, but does require a power line. It doesn't come with a remote control. You have to use the app and on my Apple it works fine but not great. Overall the fan design is excellent, my electrician friend said it was definitely made with quality in mind and it looks like it was hand tested before packing.

It updates the firmware over and over again. And that's IF I'm lucky it shows up on the wifi - most of the time it doesn't show up to try to connect. We bought this fan on a recommendation from a lighting store. Two things: It doesn't move much air. We have two more 5-blade fans and you can feel the air movement on low settings. I have another Modern Forms (MF) fan in my large room and I love it. I wanted to replace the fan in my cave so I ordered this MF fan. The instructions weren't very clear, but it's a pretty standard ceiling fan, so it's not a big deal. The problem was that the fan blade screws broke off when attaching the blades. First of all, this doesn't look like a $700 fan. It's badly designed. The parts are misaligned leaving gaps between the fan blades (2 of 3) and the cases and skins are also misaligned.
