Completely broken

I bought it twice. For the first time there was only 1, not 2 testers in the kit. The rest showed me no indicator line (1 vs. 2 lines for a positive result) after following the instructions. When I bought it the second time I got 2 but again the tester didn't work. no lines

The reading lasted over 15 minutes.

I bought this to test our pool water for bacteria. It was very easy to use and arrived quickly. However, he never recorded readings for 15 minutes or 30 minutes or even an hour. We left it overnight and woke up with a reading that thankfully was negative. At least we could test it. We were able to swim in it after electrocuting it again just to be sure.

Can you trust the results?

Easy to use. Clear and concise instructions. But when the streaks showed the water was safe, there was only one thing I could think of. Is this test reliable? No color change on the test strips can mean several things: the strips are bad; false negative results; or the water is safe! Ouch! Only 33% chance of being waterproof. While a .330 average would have put you into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame, I wasn't sure I would trust that percentage of clean water with my good health.
