Does what it's supposed to do

A very basic no frills sharpening stone as you would expect given the price and looks. If you just want to throw something small in your camping backpack I would go ahead and shop

Pros
  • Sharpening Stones
Cons
  • High Price

Handy pocket stone

Nice little stone for deburring ski edges (after climbing an invisible rock). Small enough not to be bulky or flashy, I bought two, one for each ski jacket. The only possible downside is that it's too thick to fit in my SVST edge sharpening/beveling tool.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Only available in black

Suitable for gardening tools Not your favorite pocket knife

Received my rock and ran my finger over it and rated it a COURSE. Also, only one side was true (FLAT), the other had a ridge around the perimeter. While it works well for gardening tools, I wouldn't use it for my favorite pocket knife, preferring medium, white or gray Arkansas stone.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • No power
