Does not fit 09 G37 on filter

This item does not fit my 09 Infiniti G37. In fact, it seemed to me like I was pushing the filter into the slot and it wouldn't snap onto the motor mount. Compared to my previous FRAM filters that popped up right away, these don't seem to fit at all.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Excellent purchase! for filters

My old filters used to be filled with sand and dirt but I still don't know how my car is breathing. They were very well made and very easy to assemble. I have noticed that my car drives better and the mileage has improved. I've only had them for about a month so can't comment on the cleaning but definitely worth the money!

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Landing good construction is good.

My old OEM filters were getting clogged and interfering with the engine, my MPG dropped from 19.2 to 18. I knew switching to something would make a noticeable difference. At about 1/2 tank of gas I'm currently sitting at 19.3 and I expect it to increase as we move away from the winter mix. Throttle response has also improved significantly. Fits very well, much better than I expected for the price.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So so

Decent increase in power and torque for a standard 370z

The Nissan 370z needs two of these engines as it has dual intake. I immediately noticed better power, more torque, and quicker throttle response in the bottom-mid end of the powerband. Don't buy a short piston or cold air intake manifold unless you opt for long pipes as the stock intake system is excellent at trapping the cold air up front. I highly recommend these filters over standard paper filters and they compare to K&N versions that cost three times as much.

Pros
  • Decent power
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

THEY DO NOT FIT! 😡 on spare parts

I was really hoping that this would be a cheaper alternative to the K&N filter. Unfortunately, the rubber lip is about 1/8 inch thicker and you cannot close the airbox. I'll go back and pay their stupid $5 restocking fee. 🙄Please note that on the left of the image is the OEM thickness and on the right is this attempt at a working filter. Seriously, haven't they tried putting them in the airbox of a 3.5L Infiniti/Nissan engine? One day I will start buying real K&Ns. You can order some pretty…

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Some minor things
