This is one of those tools that I would say are essential for making postcards. I tried different surface preparation methods for hot stamping; Baby powder in a sock, antistatic applied with a brush and corn powder applied with a brush. What can I say? i love to experiment. In my opinion, this anti-static bag is the best way to prepare the ground. I wish I could save some money (and some clutter!) by buying this early. I've always had a problem with excess powder sticking to the card. I would notice all the little pieces I missed once they were heated and permanently attached. When I rub this little "pouch" over the surface I want to hot stamp, it helps a lot to prevent (and often eliminate) the embossing powder from sticking where I don't want it.
