Humidifier looks cool and works. The problem is that it's really cheap quality (the plastic is really flimsy) and the lowest setting is still very high. I put it on a dresser in my son's room and the carpet in front of the humidifier is damp on the lowest setting in the morning.

Mist is fine, a little wetter than it should be. The base slowly began to leak early on. Maybe it's the ring in the lid. Dirt accumulated after 4 days of use and was not easy to remove from some creases and small areas. It retains a lot of water, which is good but looks better than the disposable.

Cannot be switched on! My husband and I followed the directions and neither of us can get it to turn on. I don't know if the button is "click" or touch, but we tried and tried and tried to press and touch it and nothing. No light, no sound! It's so frustrating as I'm currently ill (and pregnant so very unhappy) and was really looking forward to a better night's sleep! What a disappointment.

I bought this 1 Gal+ Ultrasonic Humidifier as another of our Crane brands is dying again. We went for an easier to clean design and really liked that it has a huge water inlet hole so the inside of the tank can be wiped clean. We like the subtle design and 3 power levels are enough. We really like that the light on the front goes out after 30 seconds, so when used in the bedroom it doesn't light up the room at night. It's also incredibly good.

I liked all the small Innogear essential oil diffusers but I do not recommend this humidifier and now I have doubts about the large devices they sell. This is the first time I've bought a humidifier that didn't have a built in timer or humidity sensor of any kind and couldn't be set to an outlet timer.
