The resistance was different on one side than the other

I haven't had a leak but a strange problem that doesn't inspire confidence in a product designed to make driving safer. After installing the shock on my bike, I went through the full range of motion to check the resistance. I felt noticeably more resistance to turning in one direction than the other. I'm not sure what could be causing this, but it's clearly not what the design intended. I returned it before I hit the road with the bike.

However, if you don't have a lateral steering stabilizer or haven't had one before, you'll need to find a company that sells a fork clip so you can attach it. My Ducati Monster had one so I was lucky. It took some ingenuity to get the spot right, but in the end it fit and worked well. I used the horn bolt hole and the remaining clamp. So, plus points: looks, works, finally fits. Bad: Need to find a

Completely inefficient

Should be zero stars. To function properly, the steering damper must provide enough resistance to avoid hitting the tank. That is, if the front wheel hits a pothole in an object and the force tends to turn the steering wheel to one side or the other, the damper must provide enough resistance to effectively resist the steering wheel to swing it sideways or the other. Other. This damper offers virtually no resistance and is easy to slide in and out with your thumbs in and out. So it looks like a…
