DAC is NOT included.

I think this list is misleading. There's more information on the DAC itself than the case, which led me to believe it was included (and thought it was a pretty standout deal, I should have known better). I haven't tried putting my RPi in a case yet, so I can't say the case is ready now.

Good simple case, the best computer components

Used to complete the assembly of Pi4 + Innomaker DAC HAT. It was pretty obvious to me how to use different lengths of brass posts to properly assemble the case. The manufacturer's website has instructions for assembling the case in the HAT instruction manual in PDF format, which may save someone some assembly time. I used three metal heatsinks on the Pi4. With a Squeezebox Server and two desktop speakers, it doesn't get stressful. I don't expect overheating to be a problem. I would recommend…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

One of the best RPi DAC cases and Innomaker DAC is underrated

Tolerances seem to be tight making this case difficult to build. The shorter frames are available in 2 different sizes. They're easy to mix and match, and if you do, the case won't be able to be assembled. Once properly assembled, it fits perfectly and looks attractive. My only comment is that there should be a hole in the bottom of the case to accommodate the heatsink on the bottom chip. I had to replace the heatsink with a shorter one to fit it and yet it bends slightly at the bottom. Adding…

Poor workmanship wrong size stand

I bought this case to use with Pi 3B. Either the case was made for the Pi 4, or the side with holes for outputs from the DAC and power connectors, HDMI, audio on the Pi was processed incorrectly. None of the spacers that came with them were the right length to bridge the gap between the Pi and the DAC. I had to file the holes for the RCA and 1/8" audio jacks from the DAC and the hole for the 1/8" audio jack on the Pi to get them through the side of the case properly. I didn't cut the hole for…
