A subtle light-activated candle. 🕯

The light sensor is very sensitive! It takes a lot of light to put out a candle! The rest works and flickers as it should. We've been on the road for over two weeks now. Let's see how long the batteries last.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Update available

nice glow but too orange

Don't get me wrong. That's a great little candle! I was expecting the glow to be a little less orange, but it's still nice, especially for fall. Otherwise it is very, very good and all functions work. {deducted a star for the orange glow}

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Wonderful flickering candles

They work fine! The twilight to twilight transition function is a nice feature. They look way more expensive than their price. The flicker creates ambient light. However, they are very light, so be careful when opening/closing curtains or letting your cat explore windowsills.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • embarrassing

Glad I found this

I've been using these candles for about 8 years. Got my original ones at a local hardware store that no longer carries them. I use them all year round. long. The battery needs to be replaced about every six months. I have 8 and have bought quite a few of the originals so far. A simple product that makes your windows look so hopeful ;_) Be a light 💡 in this world for others to see.

Pros
  • . Gives a good feeling
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Great for the Holidays

Last season we used them for traditional Christmas window candles, replacing an old nozzle set. These candles do not require any wiring, stand securely on windowsills and other surfaces and have two light modes: flickering flame and constant flame. From the outside they look fantastic. They use 2 AA batteries per candle and turn off automatically at daylight. Simple and great.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Does what I need

I use this in my butsudan, not an open fire and it pretty much does what I need. The light is not as bright as I would like, but a little brighter than expected. I agree with the reviewer who said the flame was too orange - true, but it's close enough to an actual candle that I'm happy with it. And I prefer that to real open flames and the difficulties and dangers that they entail. The light sensor worked fine when I tested it, but I point it toward the back of the Busudan when using it because

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Good mostly but...
