Doesn't suit me, but I love the inov-8 brand!

I ordered shoes to try on for hiking. This style was too heavy and stiff for what I was looking for so I went back. But the women's inov-8 Roclite 290 (W) trail running shoes fit perfectly! I love the inov-8 shoes, they are perfect for weightlifting and cross training and now hiking! It should be noted that this brand is half a size smaller than other popular brands, so order 1/2 size larger.

Returned. on Trail Running

I thought about trying these shoes as they looked a bit like the Saloman shoes I wear but ended up returning them. The sock was too tight and uncomfortable and I don't have a wide foot. The arches also felt a bit high and I didn't need arch support, which bothered my legs. The shoes themselves look good. I didn't like shoelaces anymore after I got used to rubber bands. I had no problems returning the shoes even though I only wore them once to try on. Excellent customer service - I really…

Good support but very narrow.

I have an old 312 that I love and would definitely buy again but it's not available so I bought these 315s thinking they would fit the same. no The 315 is narrower and has less volume for my foot. I can still wear them but I need to find better laces. They are not long enough to be easily tied. In addition, they are very slippery, so they can be easily detached. The old model laces were the "best" - they tied easily, and the non-slip material on the edge of the lacing never came off!

Buyers be careful, inaccurate size.

I am very disappointed. The Inov-8 was my favorite shoe; I like the feel of the earth and its lightness. If they match, they dream. I bought this product and returned it because the shoes were too small. I ordered a whole size up and it's still too small. I compared the size of these shoes to my Roclite 290 and the difference is at least 1/2 inch. I wear size 6.5 and have narrow feet. They look like size 5 or 5.5. I wonder if it was seconds and/or inaccurate markers.

Excellent grip, waterproof. No evidence they should be

My husband bought me these shoes and I am very happy with them! I kept slipping and slipping in the mud and needed them for outdoor work and camping. The toe might be a bit big, but that's ok. I'm always looking for a good arch brace because I have high arches. It's decent. I am happy with the fit. At first they were hard, but they broke well. The only complaint is why I didn't give it 5 stars. They are not waterproof. My big toes got wet. I constantly walk on wet tall grass and walk the trails

But great trail runner.

Great running shoes but a little narrower than other brands, especially in the toe area. I would advise you to go at least half a size bigger. I usually wear a 13 and 14 which are perfect for me. Wife bought the same shoes and normally wears an 8 but had to order an 8.5 to fit her. Keep in mind that these shoes are designed to "stick" to wet rocks. and offer maximum grip, making them softer than cheaper shoes. That means you'll "feel" the sharp stones a little more than cheap shoes. But the…

Great for running/hiking but not for diving

I wore them to a Spartan Sprint this weekend and overall they were great. It was a mountain series with a lot or rugged terrain and the shoe was supportive and had good traction. The only thing I didn't like about them was that after being submerged in water, they didn't drain well and held a lot of water. After getting wet, they were very soft and got heavier. I've worn them in the rain and they were relatively waterproof, so I think the problem was simply submerging them completely under…

I like the look but they wear out quickly and cause big blisters

I've bought a couple of Inov-8's in the past and I've really liked them. I have narrow feet so they fit me perfectly. I was excited to try these trail running shoes as I needed a low profile, waterproof shoe to wear on the wet PNW trails. Unfortunately I couldn't adjust them properly - I can walk normally in them, but when I walk I get terrible blisters on both heels. It's been about 4 months since I bought them and the heel on both shoes is completely worn out. Overall, I probably rode 50…
