🎨 11x14 Inovart Illustration Board - 25 Sheets Per Package Review

I'm sure I missed the description which says exactly what it is, but it's not thick, strong illustration board. These are thin chipboards with a white side. Looks more like a double-coated cover than Illustrator card stock. That's fine for some things - maybe preparing student work for presentation in class - but that's not what he thinks.

A bit strange maybe because I've never used canvases before but it's very good when the paint sinks in or when it's wet you don't get the first coat right away. It's like you have to paint over the entire layer and then paint over it again to get a smooth consistency. This worked great for a small project, but I didn't think of them as something big because I couldn't get a super smooth transition.

Just received today and disappointed. But I don't think I should have expected more for the price. These panels are thin, coated with white clay on one side and compressed brown fibers on the other, and can be compared to poster board. On a pack of 25 boards many are defective with visible gray fibers and spots. I'll try them out to see how they hold up in different environments, but don't expect miracles.
