I like that it can be easily cut with an exact knife, but it's so thin I'm concerned all parts of the stencil won't lay flat while I apply the paint. I'll try to update this review after trying the colors.

I purchased this item to create a stencil for a painting I was making. I needed something sturdy and waterproof. Well, it's waterproof, but it's also very thin. In fact, I have exactly that in my kitchen and use it for baking. There is no difference between this product and the wax paper roll except that it comes in sheets. So save your money and go to the grocery store to buy some wax paper.

Bought to sketch a drawing I have made and to make a stencil so I can apply the image to paper, printing plates and some canvas. I just glued it on, traced it in pencil and took it off when I was ready to cut, draw or paint. My husband has started airbrushing and enjoys creating his projects. Good for the money and a lot cheaper than buying acetate or mylar reels.
