Arrived on time. All I had to do was put in 2 "A" batteries. It worked right out of the box with no confusing setup instructions.

I sincerely hope this remote will outlast the first one I bought 9 months ago, pressing the buttons just stopped working. Not happy with that.

This is exactly what I received with my TV/VCR when I bought it. I've dropped the original one too many times and this replacement is just what I needed to replace it.

This worked great and I didn't even have to tinker with it. I literally installed the batteries and they started powering our Insignia TV!

It is immediately clear that this is not the original remote control. It looks lighter and more fragile. You really have to push the button for them to work. It just seems cheaper in general. Guess what you get when your kids break a good one!

So this was without a manual and I actually bought it for a DVD player not a TV. When we tried to set it up it only turned on the TV but not the DVD player and we couldn't set it up to turn on the DVD player as there was no manual included. I had to return it.

Bought this TV/DVD for my son as a graduation present to use as a computer monitor too - back in 2009.
