This remote control looks just like the remote control that came with your TV. It worked perfectly for about two weeks, then it only worked to turn the TV on and off; nothing else works. Oddly enough, this is the same malfunction as the original remote despite being almost a year old.

I bought this remote control instead of the original remote control that came with the TV. Alexa's voice stopped working a few weeks after buying the TV, but I was able to do other things. Finally stopped working after 1 year. I bought this replacement remote and the Alexa voice never worked and the remote stopped working after 2 days. I am so disappointed.

**WORKS WITH INSIGNIA AND TOSHIBA TVs** I broke my Toshiba remote. Decided to go and check how much it costs on ebay or amazon. Well, to my surprise, it was almost $75 on every website I found. So I did a little research and found that the Insignia is exactly the same as the original Toshiba remote that I had to replace.

I bought these over the summer after we lost the original remote for our TV. It was a waste of $60. The remote worked for about a month and then stopped working. I went to change the batteries and found that they were rusty. I cleaned the battery posts and bought new batteries but the same thing continued. Don't waste your money, find another (cheaper) option.

So Best Buy won't send me a new remote because, remember, my TV was new but smaller than 40 inches so Best Buy said they wouldn't send me a free replacement remote!
