🔌 8 Gauge Red SB50 Large Gauge Anderson Connectors - Each (Installation Bay) Review

I bought these to mate with some other Anderson connectors. However, they are not combined with other colors. Red goes to red. That's all I have.

This connector is exactly the same as the ones we use. If you're sure this is the connector you're looking for, look for cheaper options (pack of 10).

Anderson Power Posts are the quickest and easiest connectors. I'm surprised more people aren't using them. Excellent for use in the automotive industry, particularly for electrical applications in RVs.

Red Anderson SB50s are great. They sent me gray ones, the shape of which is different from red. We needed to get the job done as quickly as possible, so we had to machine the connectors to fit together.

Only to connect with another red one, not interchangeable with gray SB50s. Worked well for my situation, came as a pair so I was able to overwrite the existing gray and now the connections are color coded.

Product as advertised. However, I read the reviews and one said it was a two piece set. You actually get a plastic connector with two 8 gauge cable connectors. You must order two of these connectors (order two) to make a full connection.

I use these connectors to connect my 12v air compressor. My pump only draws a fraction of the plug's rated current, but the contacts get so hot you can barely hold the plug body. Yes, the connections are correct and made with a copper wire of increased cross-section. I'm a licensed electrician and have used these types of connectors in car factories but they seem to be a cheap version of it.
