Installed on an 08 GMC Canyon. There were issues with the dashboard not receiving power after installation. Bring back the old system and the dashboard will work properly. I found that all the wires from the original normal plug went to nothing. After a few mods and a lot of headaches, it finally got it working properly. The actual mount was cheap but kind of what I expected. Cutting off all the extra tabs was a headache. Overall, after all the headaches, looks and works great.

Wasn't exactly what I needed. I had to buy another install kit and combine the 2 to work. I had a strange attitude. 01 chevy s10 has a 1 1/2 din radio. Wider than a normal radio. If you make an S10 or a GMC S15 this year, do yourself a favor. But the 2 din frame for 05 and your radio installation will be smoother than mine. Either way, you go. Bought this kit to install a touch screen radio on my 2004 Silverado. Everything seemed easy enough to install, it looked great, press a button to hear my music instead of AM/FM suggestions, and NOTHING. No electricity, no sound, nothing. I only have 2 complaints; It's a little unclear where the power wires go in my application (Silverado 1500 '03) and the main harness connector doesn't "click" together (I keep them zip-locked together).
