Useless. Short tool for 4l60

Short . Could I use for my 4l60. Shank is 1/4 longer. He couldn't get the seal, and the same goes for the installation tool, it's shorter. Material and design are good, but the dimensions correspond to the needs.

Pros
  • Removal and installation
Cons

Doesn't work on 4l60 gearbox

Inner diameter and length not even close to correct. Will not slip on selector shaft, and even if it does, there is not enough installation tool to drive in a new seal. I cannot see the seal itself as I already had a new original seal. I ended up having to use a screwdriver to install a new oil seal.

Pros
  • Aftersales warranty
Cons
  • Useless features

Did not fit. Too small' even close by! yes

This tool was poorly made. The inside diameter was so small it didn't even slip on the lever shaft, so I went and machined it at a paid machine shop for 15,000 in half an hour. The fee is $48. I would return it but we are using a friend's elevator. The problem is mfg in China they never do anything right. I paid for my stupidity.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Some problems
