Great Quality and Ease of Use

This bone broth protein powder is great. It's good quality, clean and easy to use. It doesn't have much broth flavor, making it suitable for use in a variety of recipes. I use it in smoothies without altering their original taste much. Mixes and dissolves easily without a grainy texture. The added proteins and amino acids are just great. It also works well in soups, making them a little more filling. The protein powder comes in strong, resealable packaging. The powder is good, does not crumple.

NON-DRINKABLE, good for low-sodium diets

My diet is high in protein, but I'm on a low-sodium diet because of kidney stones. This is a real problem as many protein sources (meat) are very high in sodium. Broths in particular, even those advertised as "low sodium," aren't low if you're on a low-sodium diet. So I was interested in trying this 'bone broth' as a protein supplement due to its relatively low sodium content. The smell has a slight hint of beef. Otherwise a great source of collagen.

I expected it to be similar to other collagen powders and products I've tried. It turns out there are differences. These differences appear to be due to it not being as sophisticated as other products I use. I guess I could guess since it's called "bone broth protein" and not "collagen". It looks browner than collagen (which is usually colorless) and has a slightly fleshy odor, which I would describe. After trying a few tiny grains, I thought I would feel a slight saltiness.
