Watch the video and you will see how easy it is to make a ribbon!

The tape maker is really easy to use after watching the video. I've made a dozen napkins with it and look forward to years of help with projects. My only complaint is that the presser foot can only be used to bind thinner fabrics. It's plastic and not thick or strong enough for fleece or quilts. Also it could not be adjusted for the 1/4 inch binding setting. He says it will be so small, but the built-in block won't allow it, nor will it allow the needle to move all the way. Good idea, bad…

High Quality Set

I bet 10/5! I was blown away by the quality of this set for the price. For about $15, the kit includes: 1) five sizes of bias binding tips with plastic finger grips to prevent burns while ironing; 2) a well-made awl; 3) four sewing feet, one adjustable; and 4) accessories, including pins, clips, tape measure and two plastic cases. The only thing missing is a proper study book, but I'm sure I can find what I need online via Google and YouTube. (I'm new to sewing.) Last week I bought the same…

Like an extra pair of hands

They work as they should, very useful for those of us who are poorly coordinated when threading fabrics into the sewing machine. I use them to guide and attach trim to quilts when I want to attach the trim with a decorative top stitch. It took a bit of practice to figure out where to hold the tool and I've found that it works best when it's on the table in front of the machine, with the cloth on my lap. So far I've only used the largest size, but I can figure out how to use the smaller ones…
