Ordered this lunch box for my kid, it is ok for kids as you can only keep small portions. Best thing is it doesn’t leak and the food will not get mixed up.Had issues with hot food, when the lid is closed with hot food then it will become tight and hard to open for kids.

The Bento box is very cute, I got it to keep my picky daughter’s lunch warm but unfortunately it was cold by lunch at camp so returning. Did not try to use it for cold items as she doesn’t eat many things cold, hard to imagine it staying a good temperature for long though….but the box did not leak!

I had originally liked this for my daughters lunches, but she says her food is always cold, I will be returning it Thanks for attention.

I purchased this product on aug 1st week. I only used 2 times, as my kid is going parttime preschool didnt have a need to use this box. Now, I couldnt even close the box. Very wierd, never saw such an issue with lunch boxes. Please read other negative reviews as well before purchasing this product. Not worth the price.

Bought this purposely to keep food warm for my little one but it sucked at the one job it's supposed to do. And the dimensions are off. It's thicker than the pictures show.

This Bento box is absolutely horrible to open for young children in elementary school! My daughter came home crying that the teacher told her to tell her mother to never send that box to school with her again! I bought this for my toddlers lunch at daycare and after one use I realized I should have bought something different. It’s a cute idea just not practical.

The latches started to pop out from the lid shortly after we started using. They pop off even when latching the lid closed on an empty container so it's not an overstuffed issue. Appears that the seals are either oversized or not well aligned.

It is a cute design but I got this for my 6 year. If you put in very hot food it will vacuum seal so tight adults will have a problem opening it. It also doesn't keep hot food hot for more then a couple hours unless you buy a insulted lunch carrier.

Lunchbox is super cute but it stains and expands when washed in the dishwasher. Used it for about a month and had to throw it away since it was getting hard to close.

Whennn na I purchased the lunch box, it looked like a leak proof and proper size for my kid to use. The flaps to open seemed easy but after two months of use, realized the lid kept getting harder and harder to close and the flaps to close kept coming out or broke open. Bought it for my 4.5 y.o.Broccoli, sausage/meat, mac& cheese/rice - is what I usually pack for her at 8:20am (I pack it really hot. Hotter than what i normally give her to eat).By 12:00 it's still warm, as per what my daughter says.The portion size is perfect for 4.5y.o. girl.If your child EATS :) - then probably you should size up.

The compartmentalized model is good. It is possible tk give multiple options. But the capacity of main big compartment is little less. I feel it should be slightly bigger.

I filled it with hot water to prep the box for a hot lunch for my child. When I try to open it again, it took me several minutes prying it with a butter knife to open it. Very pretty, easy to clean. One thing to be mindful of with this box is it seals pretty well specially with warm food packed. So when kids open them in school the lid has tightened due to condensation. My toddler needs help from her teachers opening her box. This should not be an issue when she grows slightly bigger or with older kids. But in all I love this box. So does my baby girl

I was really hoping this bento would work out, it is perfect size for my 3 year old's snacks and it is leak proof (so far), but after only 5 uses it is very hard to close. An adult can do it, but a kid cannot. I never put in the dishwasher, always hand washed it so I have no idea why it has happened, but I can't send a box to school that he can't use himself! Can't recommend this product :(

I have twin boys that are fairly good eaters. Initially I was surprised at how small the container was. BUT. I like the fact it’s compact so that I can fill up the entire space and the food won’t shake too much. I know even with them throwing their backpacks around, they’re not eating jumbled up food for lunch! Whoever designed this bento box must’ve been someone like me!
