Fast, good price. for internal components

Excellent processor. This dual-core processor can handle almost anything, and combined with a decent graphics card, it can make a decent gaming system.

Cons

Big budget Intel processor

I used this to build my new computer. I'm an IT guy. I use my computer for technical work, video/audio editing, entertainment and light gaming. I'm using integrated graphics and it works fine for the stated purposes on HDTV 1080p via HDMI. Haven't tested many games yet. I would add a dedicated GPU if gaming was my main reason for buying this CPU.

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Weight

Dude, the i3 isn't bad

I don't know what's so special about the i3 packaging. Sure, it's a dual-core processor, but it has hyper-threading, giving you 4 theoretical cores for good multitasking. Yeah, it's not as cool as the i5 or the powerful i7. But for the price, this processor is more than enough for the average user. The i3-3xx5 processors have the newer HD 4000 graphics which are good enough for most Steam games. If you want to build a cheap student or business PC and play light games, this processor is perfect…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Easy installation for computer components

Easy installation, motherboard capacity is expanded. The processor runs much cooler than the previous one. The price was right.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Socket required

Fast processor, low power consumption, ideal for HTPC builds!

This is a low power processor that is great for HPTC builds. Despite being rated at 55W TDP, the processor runs about half as much. My refurbished HTPC uses this processor, 8GB DDR3, five (5) 3TB hard drives, an 80GB SSD boot drive and an Asrock H77 Pro4-M. The system consumes a total of 60-65 watts when all drives are spinning up. And the system boots to the Windows desktop and XBMC in a fraction of the time it took to use the old E350 CPU/Mobile combo and uses slightly less power to boot!

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Insanely slow
