I don't know why this isn't only sold with IntelliFeed - it seems silly to leave such an important article solely on batteries. (I'm paranoid about my fish and insist on taking extra good care of them.) Also, my only option to mount the feeder is in the back of my 55 freshwater tank because of the LED hood = PITA installed which has to be removed every time I want to install new batteries.
