Fell apart during installation

Poor quality and potentially dangerous for your dog. As I was finishing the installation, the main metal case fell apart, leaving just a red plastic stump in my yard. The only way to remove it was to break the plastic into pieces with a pry bar to reveal the body of the main screw, which luckily then unscrewed easily without prying (see photo). Now I have an ugly hole in my garden, but I'm actually happy. It fell apart when I installed it, not when our dog ran into something outside. I cannot…

Great for our hike!

Works great! We had a hike and both dogs had to be on a leash or leash at the campsite at all times. Our dogs weigh between 60 and 70 pounds, but they aren't big tractors either because they are older and mostly just sleep and hang around, so I don't know if I recommend tying up over 100 pounds. violent behavior toward that stake. Make sure you have a hard-handled screwdriver or hammer so you can drive the sleeper all the way into the ground and secure it properly. Personally I do not recommend

Not for smart dogs for training and behavioral aids

My dog tricked this thing. She rummaged around in the orange cap and then circled the leash, tugging at it in all directions until finally ripping it free from the ground. She then rushed across the yard and jumped the neighbors' 4-foot fence on her 15-foot leash, dragging him with her. I found a tie and leash in the front yard where her collar ended up snapping. Fortunately, by the time I realized what had happened, she had already returned to my garden and was unharmed. She is a very smart…

Well done Stike! for dogs

I bought this product after much discussion and research. I was very impressed with the thoughtful design and the company's response team. Although we have an invisible fencing system in the ground, I have been warned by the breeder that my Great Pyrenees puppy cannot be trusted without a visible fencing or strong bond. We cannot have an above ground fence in our area, so a screed is required to support a dog over 100 pounds. So far this Intelli-Stayk has everything I've been looking for. It is

Pivots out of the ground with little effort and the metal snaps

I have a 120 lb Husky and Belgian Malinois mix. She is NOT a tethered dog, my personal opinion is that the dog is part of the family and belongs to the family, so actually all 3 of my dogs are pet dogs. They're only out when they need to pee or on a nice day when I'm out too. My yard is big, completely fenced in, and when they go outside, they run around the yard. The only time I have to tie her down is when I'm doing yard work that requires my gate to be open and I get in and out of it because
