Finally a towel holder that fits over the shower rail. That's exactly what I wanted. As advertised. This shelf fits over the shower door railing so the hinge is wider than over the door shelves. Firmly. An assembly is not required. I've been using it for about 6 months, no rust or problems. Would buy again.

That's exactly what I was looking for. It's a little high above the door but that's ok with me! I chose to place it behind the door instead of the shower door, it looks better in my opinion. The width of the top that goes over the door is quite wide so it's not a snug fit, but again, it's ok. It's durable and the style is perfect.

My husband is a swimmer and every day when he comes home he throws his towel over the shower wall and it worries me a lot. I started thinking about how to hide the clutter and found this product. This was the perfect solution as his towel is not visible and can still dry out. He also hangs his shower slippers and scarves on them. Great purchase and beautiful brown color!

Good quality product. The bar is smaller than expected and doesn't fit in a bath towel. A towel would be better. As others have written, any towel hanging from one of the hooks while the other is hanging from the bar will not dry properly. Note. This product is designed for over the shower door. Some (including me) have hung it over their bathroom door. It works well if you use felt pads to fill the gap between the piece and the door. BUT it is short and hangs quite high. The product itself is medium/high quality. It's well built and works great. I have it on the main door to our bathroom which opens and closes frequently. It is used to share and provide towels for three people. It didn't break the door or door frame, although the top hooks are slightly larger than the depth of the door itself. It's heavy enough not to slide from side to side. It pairs easily with other plumbing fixtures and will not scratch or tarnish. My only complaint is that it arrived bent.

This towel rail replaces the similar one I used over my glass shower stall. There is no wall space to mount a 'regular' towel rail so an over the door mounted solution is ideal for me, but the bar on my old towel rail was too high for me to reach (I must shrink). !)
