This towel rail replaces the similar one I used over my glass shower stall. There is no wall space to mount a 'regular' towel rail so an over the door mounted solution is ideal for me, but the bar on my old towel rail was too high for me to reach (I must shrink). !) The handlebar placement on this rack is about 6-7 inches lower. Starting in the middle of the rack and not at the top really makes a big difference for me. The two hooks on each side are perfect for a small towel and washcloth (both hanging from loops each) The bath towel needs to be folded in half to fit, but I do it anyway so it really fits me and my towel perfectly fits. It feels solid and at this price point it just couldn't get any better.
